Food and sex. Sometimes I don't know which is better.

Tonight after a wild passionate romp in the bedroom with hubby, I made my favorite dessert, peach cobbler. It's a simple dessert and with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream it is just delicious.

I've worked in several restaurants in my time and I enjoyed picking up various recipes for different types of cuisine. I love the smell and taste of food. The way chocolate feels melting in your mouth, the way a peach slides onto your tongue, and savoring each bite of a juicy thick medium rare steak. I love the way spicy foods smell, the peppers, the onion, and the lingering of garlic after an Italian feast. When I am cooking I feel in control, free, passionate. This may have something to do with the fact I am using a knife and cooking over an open flame.

Sex has the same effect on me as food. I savor every moment I am with my spouse. The way he smells, the feel of his breath on my skin, the brush of his lips, and his touch. His kiss lingers on me, drawing me into him. Jeff is one of those men, who has mysterious eyes, a loving smile and it just pulls you and draws you in. From the first moment I saw him I wanted him, sexually that is. Like good food, sometimes I can't seem to get enough. He is a wonderful lover and when ever I am with him I feel like my cup is full and that the passion runneth over.
