Update: I am still angry with Jeff. I replied to V---'s email. I don't know how I feel about either situation at this time. Jeff better be kissing some major butt for sure.

In five days I will
be moving come hell or high water. I called the builder today to see if the
living room floor had been fixed. The seam was showing because it had been done
incorrectly and it looked really shitty. He informed me it had not been corrected
and that he didn't know if it was going to be fixed to my satisfaction. I told him that it
wasn't acceptable and I could tell he was really irritated. I reminded him that the carpet
did not look like that before and that I wanted it near perfect, even if that meant re
carpeting the whole floor. Tomorrow the front door will be put on and a few odds and
ends touched up. I am so ready for this stage to be over with and be moved in. Everything is in place and all that we have left to do is talk to our insurance agent. On Monday we will do our final walk through and on Wednesday we will close. I've sat here wondering if it s really going to happen this time after all that has happen over the last few months. I called and made arrangements to have the appliances delivered and the utilities switched over. Unfortunately my furniture is still not ready, and I told them today that it had to be delivered before August 14, because of the bridal shower. I will know something tomorrow. I don't care if they have to loan furniture from their show room, I have to have a family room full of furniture for those people to sit on. I have the move planned out, day by day. By Monday the ninth every box should be unpacked and everything should be at least put away. At least that is what I'm hoping for! Back to Journey and Destination |
